On behalf of KPMG, we are excited to host the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at historic Aronimink Golf Club. While we wish we could welcome our wonderful fans onsite, we have an incredible week in store for the talented players in the field.
It is our privilege to again join with the PGA of America, LPGA, and NBC /Golf Channel to produce what we believe is not only the premier event on the LPGA Tour, but an endeavor that is advancing and empowering women on and off the golf course.
We are proud of everything this event represents. This major championship showcases the talents of the incredible athletes in women’s golf, competing at a world-class venue with network TV coverage on the weekend.
As part of our goal to elevate the game of golf for women, future KPMG Women’s PGA Championships will take place at some of the country’s top courses in major markets including Atlanta Athletic Club in 2021, Congressional Country Club in 2022, and Baltusrol Golf Club in 2023.
This week, the sixth annual KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit is being held virtually for the first time, bringing together highly-accomplished leaders from business, politics, sports, and the media with women leaders aspiring to reach the C-suite.
The proceeds from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit are funding the KPMG Future Leaders Program that, in its fifth year, continues to develop future generations of women leaders. This program affords top female high school students from underserved and diverse communities across the country the opportunity to enhance their personal growth through college scholarships, a leadership development retreat, a mentoring relationship with a woman business leader that participated in the Summit, and an introduction to golf.
Our commitment to accelerating diversity and inclusion is unwavering.
Thank you for your support, and we hope you enjoy the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship!
Sincerely,
Paul Knopp
KPMG U.S. Chair and CEO
