Angela Stanford had hoped to make the 2024 KPGA Women’s PGA Championship her 100th consecutive start in a women’s major, but her streak ended at 98 when she failed to get through qualifying or receive a special invitation to play the recent U.S. Women’s Open at Lancaster Country Club. So this week started a new streak. Stanford, 46, who had hoped to join Jack Nicklaus as the only players to compete in 100 consecutive majors, is now is at 1.
