None of the eight members of the Corebridge Financial Team made it to the weekend at Sahalee, but that’s not to say they did not all gain valuable experience at the championship. Arizona’s Kim Paez was the top finisher among the PGA and LPGA Golf Professionals in the field, shooting 77-76, missing the cut by four shots.

Paez is the PGA Player Development Manager for PING in Arizona, and a PGA Coach at Cave Creek Golf Club's Reid West Golf Academies in Phoenix. She played college golf at Cal-Irvine and won the 2008 Big West Conference Championship. Paez earned a spot into the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship with a fourth-place finish at the PGA of America Women’s Stroke Play Championship.

“My biggest takeaway is just to know that I gave it my all. I fought until the very last putt,” Paez said. “I never gave up and I'm very proud of myself for that.

“One thing I'll remember I think is just the atmosphere, the fans, and being part of the Corebridge Financial Team, the seven other girls. I mean, I'm very proud of us to be here and to represent the PGA of America.”
