Rose Zhang, who recently claimed her second consecutive NCAA Division I women's golf title, has turned professional.
It was also announced that her first official Major Championship as a professional would be the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, June 21-25, at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey. She earned a spot into the Championship via a sponsor exemption.

Among an impressive list of individual accolades, Zhang won the 2020 U.S. Women's Amateur, the 2023 Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA) and became the first woman to win the NCAA Division I Golf Championship in back-to-back years.
