KPMG Women's PGA Champion: 2023
Chinese professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. At age 20, she won the 2023 Women's PGA Championship, becoming the second women's major championship winner from China.
Yin rose to number one in the Women's World Golf Rankings in September 2023.
Yin finished T3 at LPGA Qualifying Tournament Stage II with a four-day total of 275 (-13).
Yin played in two CLPGA events in 2021; her best finish was a T11 at the Nanshan Ladies Golf Challenge.
She qualified for the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open at Olympic Club (MC).
Yin won her first three events in a row on the CLPGA as a professional in 2020, a record for the tour.
She recorded six top-10s on the CLPGA during the 2020 season.
